WELCOME — The last Tuesday coffee hours for July will be held 8:30-10 a.m. July 26 at the Regional Worship Center in Sherburn, just south of I-90. As of this writing, I have not heard about any Tuesday coffee hours in August at area churches. St. Paul’s UCC church in Welcome will have Tuesday coffee hours in September.

Sundaes in the Park continue 6 p.m. Sunday in Trimont.

Circle of Faith parishes are reminded that Trinity Lutheran Church in Welcome has Wednesday evening services at 7 p.m. during the month of July. In August, Waverly Lutheran Church will host those Wednesday services.

Residents of Welcome are reminded that there is an ordinance that requires the mowing of grass and weeds before they are seven inches high and blowing grass clippings into the gutter or street is also prohibited. Thank you for keeping the city clean and storm sewers unclogged.
