SHERBURN — Today is the first Wednesday in the month of July so the Sherburn Legion will have their ‘Hamburger Night’ from 5-8 p.m. Grilled hamburgers with all the fixings, salad, and baked beans for only $8. The Sherburn Legion will also have their steak fry from 5-8 p.m. Saturday, July 9, with ribeye, shrimp, or smoked pork chop, salad bar, baked potato and garlic toast for only $17. The Legion’s July meeting is scheduled for 8 p.m. Tuesday, July 12. All members are urged to attend.

The Mayo Mobile Clinic is open from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m today. The van is near the city hall. This will be their first year anniversary in Sherburn.

There is a CREST-sponsored Lunch and Learn beginning 11 a.m. today at the Sherburn Senior Citizens Center on First Street by city hall. This is free to all residents of Martin County. A donation to help with meal expenses is appreciated.

Tuesday coffee hours in July will be held 8:30-10 a.m. at the Regional Worship Center just south of I-90 in Sherburn. Join friends and neighbors for a good cup of coffee, treats and wonderful fellowship every Tuesday in July. St. Paul’s UCC in Welcome is scheduling coffee hours for the month of September.

The next Sundaes in the Park in Trimont is scheduled for July 17 since Trimont Fun Fest will be underway July 5-10. The main parade is scheduled for 2 p.m. on Saturday, July 9.

The movie this weekend at the Sherburn Theatre will be Minions: the Rise of GRU. Showtimes are 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 4 p.m. on Sunday. Tickets are usually only $5. Shop locally.
