STEP, Inc., wants your old holiday lights, electric cords and appliance cords. You may drop your lights or cords (no cord adapters or battery packs) off at Truman City Hall, Trinity Lutheran Church, and St. Paul’s Lutheran Church. St. Paul’s collection bin is located inside the entryway to the office on the east side of the building. If you would like more information, call (507) 238-4341.
St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in Truman will be holding a 5 p.m. New Year’s Eve service.
A meat raffle with proceeds going to the Truman High School Trap Team will be held beginning 6 p.m. Friday, New Year’s Eve, at Aardvarks in Truman. Come and show your support.
Truman City Council will meet 5:30 p.m. Monday evening.
Wednesday is recycling day. Containers should be placed curbside by 7 a.m. with the front of the container facing the street.
