Upcoming New Years Eve supper
W E L C O M E – Area churches have scheduled Christmas services. All residents are invited to join these churches to celebrate Jesus’ birthday. On Christmas Eve, Circle of Faith congregations may attend St. Peter Lutheran Church in Ceylon or Waverly Lutheran Church north of Welcome at 5 p.m. Friday. The other congregations, Trinity Lutheran in Welcome, will have Christmas Eve services at 6:30 p.m. and First Lutheran Church in Trimont will have its Christmas Eve service at 7 p.m. St. Paul’s United Church of Christ in Welcome will have a 6 p.m. Christmas Eve service.
