Meat raffle Friday night

TRUMAN — Tomorrow is the day to fly your American flag at half staff to honor those we have lost to COVID. Governor Tim Walz has requested us to do this as a way of showing the families that have lost a loved one that we care.

Come to Aardvarks for the meat raffle starting at 6 p.m. Friday night. All proceeds go to the Truman High School Trap Team.

Truman Lions Club burger bash will be held 5-7 p.m. Saturday at the Truman Community Building. Enjoy a delicious burger, condiments, beans, chips, and a beverage.

Lewisville Legion Auxiliary chicken supper will be 5-6:30 p.m. Sunday at the Lewisville Legion. Dine in or take out.

Happy birthday to Lois Camelin who will be celebrating her 94th birthday on Sunday. Birthday wishes can be sent to Lois at 410 E. 2nd St. N., Truman, MN 56088.

There’s no better time to read the Good Book than on Sunday, which is International Day of the Bible.

St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church will hold a Thanksgiving Day worship service at 9 a.m. on Nov. 24.

Truman Sorority hopes to host its annual Santa Shopping Spree on Dec. 14. They would appreciate donations of some nice men’s, women’s and kid’s gifts.
