TRUMAN — An open house bridal shower for Cassie Urban will be held 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 13, at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Truman. Cassie is the bride-to-be of William Huper, and the daughter of Connie Urban and the late Darrell Urban. They are registered at Amazon and Target under Cassandra Urban.

Truman Active Living group will meet 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Truman Museum. Any Truman area resident who would like to see the community continue to provide and improve their facilities is invited to attend the meeting. They welcome any ideas or suggestions.

Share your love for our community with friends and neighbors by helping the spruce-up group with decorating the downtown street light poles and the former Jaycee Park for Christmas season. They would like monetary donations to help with the project. An account has been set up at Profinium Bank in Truman if you would like to help with this festive project.
