Blood drive on Monday

Tuesday Coffee Hours continue at St. Luke’s Catholic Church in Sherburn 8:30-10 a.m. during October. All area residents are welcome to join them for rolls and coffee and fellowship.

MCW athletes are busy with Cross Country meeting 4:30 p.m. Thursday at Madelia and Football 7 p.m. at Sherburn versus Springfield. On Monday the volleyball has their Cancer Night 7:15 p.m. in Trimont versus Pipestone. Good luck to the Maverick teams.

The Sherburn Theatre will continue with the 007 movie, No Time to Die, 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 4 p.m. Sunday.

There is a Red Cross Blood Drive 12-6 p.m. Monday at St. Paul’s United Church of Christ. Call 800-red-cross (733-2767) or go online at www.redcrossblood.org or text BLOOD APP to 90999 for further information about blood drive locations or to make an appointment. There will also be a Blood Drive in Northrop 12:30-5:30 p.m. Nov. 1 and a Drive 1-6 p.m. Nov. 8 at the Regional Worship Center in Sherburn.

There will be a Ruby’s Pantry Distribution 5:30-7 p.m. Monday at the Regional Worship Center parking lot in Sherburn. this is a drive Through event with a $20 donation. It is for anyone, there are no income or residential guidelines. Have your trunk empty for the boxes of abundant food that will be placed in the trunk by volunteers. On Facebook at Ruby’s Pantry-RWC-Sherburn there will be a partial list on Friday or Saturday of the goods to be distributed.

Condolences to the family of Mary Jane Olson who passed away last week. She will be missed.

The family of Jeff Ross would like to thank all those who helped them celebrate his life on Oct. 9th.

Congratulations to Bob Olson who turned 94 on Oct. 11. Cards will reach him at 664 160th St, Sherburn, MN 56171.

When planning a vacation or time off make sure to schedule in the Sherburn All School Reunion on June 18, 2022, next year. There are many things planned with tents at the park in order to gather after the parade. Check out the Facebook page of Sherburn High School. Teachers and staff that worked at the school are included. There will not be a mailing so spread the word to all that you know would be interested in coming.
