County Fair is coming up

WELCOME -- Welcome Legion and Sons of the Legion are

scheduled to meet 7 p.m. Monday at the Welcome Legion Hall. All

members are urged to attend.

It's August, so of course the conversation goes to the Martin

County Fair coming up August 16-22 in Fairmont. The

entertainment list is impressive: IV Play, Mark Wills, Johnny Holm,

Sandra Lee and the Velvets, Canyon Cowboys, Heart Song and for

Saturday in the Park, Diamond Rio. Good luck to the 4Hers and

FFAers on their exhibit projects at the fair.
