Truman Days fun is here

TRUMAN — Beginning tomorrow, Truman Days 2021 will be geared up for many activities. Some of them are:

— Truman Classic Tractor Ride begins 7:30 a.m. Friday at Prairieland Solid Waste just northeast of Truman. They will leave 8 a.m. driving east to the Tom Sackett corner, then south to Salic Seed for coffee/rolls, then southwest to Henway for a look around and an ice cream treat, then back to Truman for lunch in the park for tractor participants provided by CFS. — The kids tractor pedal pull begins Saturday at Graf Park with registration at 9 a.m. and competition getting underway at 10 a.m. This is sponsored by Curtis Jones Trucking and Ernie Jones Trucking.

— On Saturday at Graf Park, there will be bouncy houses, face painting, and Daniel Molitor games for kids. Food for all ages, such as Smith’s Kettle Corn, AJ’s onion rings, P-Pod, Lola’s Food Truck, O ‘Scoops Ice Cream, Gerhardt’s, Chanelle’s Citrus Stand, Pork Producers, St. Paul’s School and Mr. Munchus shaved ice. Crafts by Mary’s Pillow and more, Hwy 4 Thrift & more, Chris Homemade Foods, Scent Sensational Goat Milk Soap, Designs by J & M, No Frills Farm, Becky Anderson, Carmen/Urban, Evelyn Brye, Emilee & Brandon Miller, Lori Espeland and Micaela Ellefson. Habitat for Humanity will also be on site. Please come to Graf Park and support these vendors/crafters where you may find cool treasures.

— The grand parade begins 5 p.m. on Saturday. There will be musical entertainment at Graf Park before and after the parade. Bring your lawn chairs and spend an enjoyable day there.

— The Whitesidewalls will perform beginning 8:30 p.m. Saturday at Graf Park. Check out the full schedule on their Facebook page.

Dudley and Donna Leonard will be celebrating their 45th wedding anniversary on Saturday and it is also Donna’s birthday. Wishing you an enjoyable anniversary and a festive birthday celebration. Cards may be sent to Dudley and Donna at 201 S. 6th Ave. E., Truman, MN 56088.
