WELCOME — Saturday there will be a summer festival in Sherburn

and a chicken feed with entertainment tonight at the Sherburn Fire Hall. Welcome Festival will be held July 17 and Welcome’s fire department will also have a chicken feed on Friday, July 16. Mark

your calendars and plan to attend. This year’s festival in Welcome

will not have a parade but will have a street dance featuring the

band, ‘IV Play’. There will also be a pork chop feed on Saturday, July

17 at the legion. Watch for further details. I’m assuming there will

be plenty of rummage/garage sales that weekend too.

Welcome Legion Auxiliary will not meet on their usual meeting date of June 21. Please spread the word to members.

Circle of Faith parishes are widening with the inclusion of Trinity

Lutheran Church of Trimont to the group. Check their website for service times as they may change due to an interim pastor doing

services now.

Thank you to those who have made their water meters available to Max Longley for replacement. Be aware that this replacement is

ongoing and residents may have to make appointments to let Longley replace the water meter. Your cooperation is appreciated.
