CEYLON — Interlaken Heritage Days will be held today in Fairmont.It is good to see some community events scheduled this year. Sherburn Festival will be held June 19, and I heard the Welcome and Truman summer festivals are also scheduled. Also, the Ceylon all-school reunion will be in 2022.

There will be a special ‘Good Times Karaoke’ 8 p.m. tonight at Legends II in Ceylon. This special event will be in memory of long-time Ceylon resident, Ronnie Van Heuman, who died this year.

Ceylon residents have received a letter reminding them that new meters (water and electric) will be installed the first part of July. There is no charge to replace the meters but cooperation is requested to make this replacement go smoothly. Vanguard Utility
