Arbor Day is Friday

TRUMAN — Arbor Day is Friday. It is important as it gives people knowledge to plant trees, protect trees and keeping trees for future generations. We all need to be good stewards of the land.

Spruce Up Truman committee would like donations to buy plants for their planters. Any amount donated would be appreciated. Monetary donations may be sent to Profinium at P.O. Box 400 Truman, MN 56088, or left at Profinium at 414 N. 5th Ave E. Let’s help this amazing group make our Ciro Street area bloom.

We wish Willard and Linda Buelow a happy 50th wedding anniversary on Saturday, May 1. Cards will reach them at 221 N. Central Ave., Truman, MN 56088.
