WELCOME -- There will be a Clean Up Day for Welcome residents only from 8-10 a.m. Saturday or whenever the truck is full. Residents should take junk to the drop off spot behind the fire hall on Campbell Street and be prepared to show proof of residency in Welcome. Things that are not accepted are hazardous or toxic materials, waster oil, any liquid, paints, solvents, yard waste, appliances and tires. This is a good time to get rid of the junk prohibited by ordinances for free.
Condolences to the family of June Schultz (Mrs. Loren) from rural Welcome. Some family lives near Welcome. She will be missed.
I have not heard about any coffee hours this year and I am assuming they are not going to be held due to the pandemic. Also the senior citizens group meetings are not scheduled.
