Welcome City Council meeting held Tuesday began with the mayor, Jack Newville, and new councilman, Elroy Glidden, taking the oath of office. The meeting was live streamed on Zoom also. The council set the fees that were listed in the city code book. They also designated Welcome City Hall as a polling place for the 2022 election.

The committees for the year were appointed by Mayor Newville.

The reports from city employees were received and the council approved the request from the Welcome Legion to postpone getting their license until their re-opening.

Clothing monies for city employees, Max and Brock, was discussed and they will receive the year’s monies each January.
