TRUMAN — Truman Lions Club burger bash has been canceled due to the rising numbers of COVID-19 cases.

An American Red Cross blood drive will be held noon to 6 p.m. Tuesday at the Truman Community Building in Truman. Everyone is encouraged to donate blood to keep up the with the demand for all types of blood. There is no waiting period to give blood after receiving a flu shot as long as you are symptom-free and fever free.
