CEYLON — American Red Cross will host a blood drive from 1-6 p.m. Sept. 17 in the banquet room at Legends II in Ceylon.

There also will be a blood drive from noon to 6 p.m. Sept. 29 at St. Paul’s United Church of Christ in Welcome.

Our Savior’s Lutheran in Ceylon holds a Saturday evening service at 5:30 p.m. It will begin a Bible class at 9 a.m. Sept. 22. Its dual parish, St. Paul’s Lutheran in Wilbert, has Sunday services at 9:30 a.m.

St. Peter Lutheran in Ceylon and Waverly Lutheran Church, north of Welcome, hold services at 8:30 a.m. Sunday, while the other Circle of Faith parish of Trinity Lutheran in Welcome holds its Sunday morning service at 10 a.m.
