WELCOME — Welcome City Council meeting will be 6 p.m. Thursday at City Hall. This is a change from the usual third Tuesday due to a public hearing about the housing bonds prior to the council meeting.

A Red Cross blood drive will be held 1-6 p.m. Thursday in Ceylon in the back room of Legends II.

There also will be a blood drive from noon to 6 p.m. Sept. 29 at St. Paul’s United Church of Christ in Welcome.
