Truman garage sales coming soon

TRUMAN — Labor Day is Monday, with all government offices closed.

It is a day to show appreciation for the dedicated workers who make an impact on our lives every day. Every one of you is appreciated.

Truman City Council will meet 5:30 p.m. Tuesday. The change is because of Labor Day.

If you have any ideas, concerns or questions, phone City Hall at (507) 776-7951 to talk to Thea or Sherry to get put on the agenda.

Masks and social distancing are required at council meetings.

Children soon will be going back to school, so please drive with care and obey all school bus and crosswalk laws.

National Grandparents Day is Sept. 13. Having a strong family bond lowers the risk of depression in both grandparents and grandkids. A card, phone call, text, picture or any form of communication is always appreciated.

On Sept. 18-19, Truman will be buzzing with garage sales, craft vendors in the park and food vendors. It is never too early to do your birthday or Christmas shopping for that unique gift.
