Blood drive slated next week in Ceylon
CEYLON — St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Wilbert will hold its service at a different time Sunday. Because of a commitment by Pastor Reimers, the service will be at 10:30 a.m., conducted by Pastor Wilson from Sherburn. Communion will not be held, but will be held next week.
Also, the voters meeting will be held July 19.
Our Savior’s Lutheran will hold its Saturday evening service at 5:30 p.m. tonight.
St. Peter Lutheran will host an 8:30 a.m. service Sunday.
Ceylon City Council will meet 6 p.m. Tuesday at City Hall. There is always a time for public comments and questions at the beginning of each meeting without prior reservations.

Condolences to the family of Don Tietje who died July 4. He was a past commander of the Ceylon Legion and District 2 Legion. He will be missed.

Ceylon Community Day Auction will be held July 25.
