Wednesday is recycling day.

Remember, just because there is a recycling symbol on it does not mean it can be recycled. This includes such items as egg cartons, pizza boxes, styrofoam and plastic grocery bags. Plastics with 1, 2 and 5 are accepted.

Make sure all items are rinsed out and clean so they do not contaminate the other recyclables.

Does your house have a number on it? Now would be a good time to put one on, especially for medical or emergency purposes.

The spruce-up group is at it again. If anyone would like to make a donation for this group to buy paint, it would be appreciated. You can leave it at City Hall or mail it to City of Truman, Box 398, Truman, MN 56088.
