Spruce-up group accepting donations

TRUMAN — Truman City Council will meet Monday. If you have any concerns, call the city clerk at (507) 776-7951 to have your questions addressed at their meeting.

Wednesday is recycling day.

Remember, just because there is a recycling symbol on it does not mean it can be recycled. This includes such items as egg cartons, pizza boxes, styrofoam and plastic grocery bags. Plastics with 1, 2 and 5 are accepted.

Make sure all items are rinsed out and clean so they do not contaminate the other recyclables.

If you have questions about solid waste collection events for Martin and Faribault counties in June, contact Billeye Rabbe at (507) 776-3232.

Does your house have a number on it? Now would be a good time to put one on, especially for medical or emergency purposes.

The spruce-up group is at it again. If anyone would like to make a donation for this group to buy paint, it would be appreciated. You can leave it at City Hall or mail it to City of Truman, Box 398, Truman, MN 56088.

Thank you to the Truman Community Club for the beautiful planters on Ciro Street. They are a great addition and much appreciated.

A drive-by, walk-by, stop-by bridal shower for Miranda Belgard will be held 10-11:30 a.m. June 6 at Graf Park in Truman.
