Seven members of the Martin County Substance Abuse Prevention Coalition were in Washington, D.C., for CADCA’s (Community Anti-Drug Coalition of Americans) 30th annual National Leadership Forum.

Steph Johnson, MCSAP project coordinator, plans for the group to come back re-energized with new ideas and strategies to prevent underage drinking, vaping and another drug misuse in Martin County.

Of the seven members attending, we are so happy to have Tim, Tallin and Ashlynn Cook as part of this training team. Congratulations and thank you.

MCSAP coalition members will present what they have learned to area groups. If you would like to have them come speak to your group about the latest information regarding substance misuse prevention or what they experienced while at the leadership forum, call Steph Johnson at (507) 236-4118.
