Pastor Reimers and family will have their special Christmas thank you lunch for the dual congregations of Our Savior’s Lutheran in Ceylon and St. Paul’s Lutheran in Wilbert, and Reimers’ friends, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Dec. 8 in the basement of the church in Wilbert.

St. Peter Lutheran Church ladies group will get together for its monthly meeting 1:30 p.m. Wednesday.

Upcoming events include:

o A cribbage tournament that will be held beginning 1:30 p.m. Dec. 14 at Legends 2 in Ceylon.

o A special holiday celebration for area children will be held 2-5 p.m. Dec. 21 in the banquet hall at Legends 2 in Ceylon.
