CEYLON — There will be a cribbage tournament today beginning with registration at 1:15 p.m., following by cribbage play 1:30 p.m. at Legends 2 in Ceylon. Area residents are welcome.

There also will be a tournament the same time on Nov. 16 at the Welcome Legion. The public is invited to share a fun afternoon with friends and neighbors.

There will be a Red Cross blood drive in Sherburn from 1-6 p.m. Monday at the Regional Worship Center. Plan now to give the gift of life, blood.

Members of the LWML ladies group at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Wilbert are urged to attend their monthly meeting 1:30 p.m. Thursday. Quite a few important decisions need to be made at the meeting.

June 27-28, 2020, would be a good time to plan a vacation to Minnesota, and specifically to Ceylon, since the 27th is the date for the all-school reunion and the 28th is the date for the 125th anniversary of St. Peter Lutheran Church in Ceylon.
