CEYLON — Tuesday coffee hours for the month of October continue from 8:30-10 a.m. at St. Luke’s Catholic Church in Sherburn. Join friends and neighbors for good fellowship.

Also, a Ceylon coffee lovers group meets 8:30-10 a.m. each Thursday in the community room at Legends 2 in Ceylon. Area residents are welcome.

Ceylon Legion Auxiliary will meet 4 p.m. Tuesday in the community room at Legends 2 in Ceylon. All members are asked to make a special effort to attend this meeting as many important decisions will have to be made.

Ceylon City Council will meet 6 p.m. Tuesday at City Hall. All members are urged to attend. There is always time at the beginning of the meeting for community comments with no prior reservations.

Ceylon Legion and Sons of the Legion groups will meet 7 p.m. Tuesday in the community room at Legends 2. All members are encouraged to attend.

St. Paul’s Lutheran LWML ladies group of Wilbert will meet beginning 1:30 p.m. Thursday. All members are urged to attend.

Friendly Neighbor Card Club will meet 1:30 p.m. Friday at the home of Lyla Bremer. All members are encouraged to attend for good fellowship.

When the weather straightens out, (notice I did not say IF the weather straightens out), the farmers will be harvesting. Please have a safe harvest and keep safety a first concern. As we drive the roads, please be aware of slow-moving vehicles and machinery on the roads.
