WELCOME — There will be a gathering of relatives, friends and classmates of Don Storbeck and Dale Spoerry, as a celebration of their lives, from 3-8 p.m. Saturday at 201 Harrison St. in Welcome. Come and share memories.

Senior citizens will meet for their noon potluck meal Monday at the Welcome Legion Club, with fellowship following the meal. All area senior citizens are invited to join them.

There will be an open house kickoff meeting for Relay for Life team leaders from 5:30-6:30 p.m. Monday in the main meeting room at Mayo Clinic Health System in Fairmont.

Think about having a team for the June 27, 2020, Relay for Life event and come to the kickoff meeting.

Fall cleanup day in Welcome will be Oct. 12, beginning at 8 a.m. behind the fire hall on Campbell Street.

No appliances will be collected during the fall cleanup.

Those bringing items for the truck must be ready to show resident status for Welcome.

The ending time will be when the truck is full or 10 a.m., whichever comes first.
