CEYLON — Tuesday morning coffee hours for August continue from 8:30-10 a.m. at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Sherburn. Join friends and neighbors for good brew and good fellowship.

Also, every Thursday, a coffee lovers group meets in Ceylon from 8:30-10 a.m. at Legends 2.

Circle of Faith parishes continue their summer schedule during the month of August.

There will be Wednesday evening services at 6:30 p.m. at Waverly Church north of Welcome, with 8:30 a.m. Sunday services at St. Peter in Ceylon and Trinity in Welcome.

Upcoming events include:

o A congregational meeting will be held after the church service Aug. 25 at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Wilbert. This is regarding finance questions that were in the newsletter.

o During September, there will be Bible classes 9:30 a.m. each Tuesday at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in Ceylon. Area residents are invited to join them.

There will be a Ceylon High School all-school reunion June 27, 2020. If there are former students who have changed their address since 2015, please contact Jim Plumhoff at (507) 632-4368.

That same weekend, St. Peter Lutheran Church will celebrate its 125th anniversary June 28, 2020.
