On many holidays or special times as you drive through our town on the highway, you notice the flags. What a beautiful sight to see those American flags waving in the breeze.

Thanks to the people who volunteer their time.

If you would like to donate to the flag fund, it would be appreciated, as the flags need replacing from time to time. Donations or memorials can be left at City Hall or sent to City of Truman, 101 E. Ciro St., Truman, MN 56088.

The Truman High School class of 1948 will hold its 71st class reunion at 11 a.m. Aug. 17 at the Ranch Restaurant in Fairmont. They hope to see members and their guest there.
