Road closure slated for today

FAIRMONT — Lair Road will be closed from Albion Avenue west to Gomsrud Park for repairs today. The closure is anticipated to run from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. In the event of rain, the work will be completed Friday.

Red Rock Center seeking entries

FAIRMONT — Red Rock Center is accepting entries for a community art show and photo contest.

Entries can be dropped off between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. Tuesday through Friday, and after hours by appointment. Photos must be in 5-by-7 format, unframed and represent the surrounding area. Entry deadline is July 27.
