BLUE EARTH — Dawn Fellows, Central Services director for Faribault County, announced her resignation Tuesday.

Her last day will be Aug. 16. Fellows has been employed by the county since May 31, 2013.

“It is with regret we accept the resignation of Dawn Fellows,” said Faribault County Commission chairman Bill Groskreutz.

In other business, Fellows and Troy Beckman, buildings and grounds supervisor for the county, presented commissioners with a proposal for a facilities assessment by ISG of Mankato.

The purpose of the assessment will be to allow for a more proactive approach for planning capital expenditures and ongoing maintenance needs.

The board approved the proposal at a cost of $18,450.
