It’s cleanup day in Ceylon

CEYLON — Today is cleanup day in Ceylon, with curbside pickup of items by trucks from Waste Management provided by the city.

This is a free opportunity to clean up Ceylon.

Appliances will be picked up by Larry Kling. Remember: No electronics, televisions, paint, chemicals, waste, dead animals, broken glass, shingles, needles or bricks.

Any items not accepted must be removed from curbs by May 21 or they will be considered a violation of the junk ordinance and be ticketed.

Residents may take electronic and chemical kinds of items to the Prairieland waste facility in Truman.
