WELCOME — Welcome Legion Auxiliary will meet 7 p.m. Monday at the Legion. All members are urged to attend.

Welcome Memorial Day program will be 9 a.m. May 27 in the old gym at the Welcome School. Because of construction, please use the north door (back door). The speaker will be Dale Harbitz. All are welcome to attend.

Tuesday coffee hours in May continue 8:30-10 a.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church in Welcome. After that, there will only be two more Tuesdays there for the month.

Welcome City Council will meet 6 p.m. Tuesday at City Hall. All members are urged to attend. There is always a time for public comments at the beginning of each meeting. To be on the regular agenda, please contact the City Clerk prior to the meeting.

Upcoming events include a Red Cross blood drive noon to 6 p.m. July 9, at St. Paul’s United Church of Christ building.

Also, the Welcome Summer Festival will be held July 20 this year.
