Truman Lions Club burger bash will be 5-7 p.m. Saturday with all proceeds going to the Truman Days Parade. Enjoy a delicious burger, condiments, beans, chips and a beverage.

Lewisville Legion Auxiliary chicken supper will be 5-6:30 p.m. Sunday at the Lewisville Legion.

Truman City Council will meet 5:30 p.m. Monday at City Hall.

If you would like to be a part of Hy-Vee simple fix freezer meal workshop with Abby, you must register and pay by Tuesday.

The workshop will be held 5:30-6:30 p.m. May 28. The cost is $60, with all supplies furnished.

You will be able to take home four meals that will serve four to six people.

The last day for Truman High School student homework help is May 23, but it will be back next school year.

Truman High School commencement begins 7 p.m. May 24.

Jaguar youth football players are wanted for all youth entering third grade though sixth grade this fall (teams divided by grade). The cost is $50, payable at equipment handout on July 30. Scholarships are available.

Practices will be 6-7:30 p.m. Tuesday and Thursday beginning Aug. 13 at Truman. Games start 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 17, and continue though Oct. 12 in Truman and at other league schools, with one game being played at either US Bank Stadium or Gustavus Adolphus College.
