WELCOME — Cleanup day in Welcome will be 8-10 a.m. (or whenever the truck is full) Saturday behind the Fire Hall on Campbell Street by the water tower.

Be prepared to show identification that proves you are a Welcome resident.

Appliances can be picked up curbside for a fee. Tickets for appliances and more information are available during business hours at City Hall.

Happy Mother’s Day on Sunday to all area mothers and those who are like a mother to children.

Welcome Legion and Sons of the Legion groups will meet 7:30 p.m. Monday at the Welcome Legion. All members are urged to attend.

Tuesday coffee hours in May continue 8:30-10 a.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church in Welcome. Join friends and neighbors for good coffee, treats and great fellowship.

The streets and roads project is underway and progressing well. Thank you for the patience and cooperative effort from all city residents.
