Historical Society event set
WELCOME — There will be an Easter egg hunt for area children at 9 a.m. Saturday at Hansen Keck Park in Welcome.
Thank you to the fire department for sponsoring the egg coloring and egg hunt.

Easter celebrations at area churches will be on Sunday, with a 6:30 a.m. service at St. Paul’s United Church of Christ in Welcome, followed by a pancake breakfast for all, then an Easter egg hunt for children after the breakfast.
Circle of Faith parishes will each have a special Easter service. Trinity Lutheran in Welcome will have a 7 a.m. service and then a breakfast. St. Peter Lutheran in Ceylon will have an 8:30 a.m. service and Waverly Lutheran Church north of Welcome will have a 10:30 a.m. service.
Area residents are welcome to join any of these congregations on Sunday to celebrate Easter.

Tuesday coffee hours continue for two more Tuesdays in April from 8:30-10 a.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church in Trimont. Tuesday coffee hours in May will be held at Trinity Lutheran in Welcome.

Welcome Historical Society would like to thank those who helped clean the museum April 6, and remind members that there will be an annual meeting and potluck supper beginning 5 p.m. Tuesday. Memberships can be paid for at that meeting for $10. Think about becoming a member and join them on Tuesday.
The museum will be open 2-4 p.m. the first Saturday of May.
