Fireman’s breakfast set for Friday

TRUMAN — Lowell and Joyce Boesch and their children and grandchildren invite family and friends to help them celebrate their 40th wedding anniversary. Join them from 4-8 p.m. Saturday at the Truman Community Building, 313 N First Ave. West, Truman.

Truman Firemen’s fundraising breakfast is going to be good. They will be serving 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday. Enjoy pancakes, scrambled eggs, sausage, hashbrowns, juice, milk and coffee all for a free will donation. Proceeds will be used for firefighting equipment.

Rustic board sign making class is planned April 7 with registration due by Monday. The cost varies for a variety of spring-summer themed designs. Choices can be found on Truman Schools website under the community education tab or on Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/therusticboard1/. Truman City Council meets 5:30 p.m. Monday at Truman City Hall. All meetings are open to the public.

Come join Truman Pride 6:30 p.m. Tuesday. It doesn’t matter if you currently have a student in school or not, Truman Pride would appreciate your help in supporting the students and our school.

Wednesday is recycling day. Place your recycling container curbside by 7 a.m.

Trinity Lutheran Church youth will serve a supper 5:30-6:45 p.m. Wednesday. The meal will include tatertot hot dish, jello, peanut butter sandwiches, cake, and a beverage for a free-will donation. After the meal, a Lenten worship service will be held 7 p.m.

Hy-Vee simple fix freezer meal workshop with Abby Kipfer will be held 5:30-6:30 p.m. April 10, but you must register and pay by April 5. The cost is $60, with all supplies furnished. You’ll be able to take home four meals that will serve four to six people. Payment should be mailed to or dropped off at the Truman H.S. office at 401 E. 1st St. S., Truman, MN 56088.
