WELCOME — Welcome High School Alumni will be gathering for the all-class reunion program, dinner and dance from 11 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. Saturday in the old gym at the Welcome School.

The public is welcome to join the alumni at a breakfast from 8-11:30 a.m. Sunday in the old Welcome School gym. Welcome Fire Department is hosting the breakfast, with the proceeds from donations going toward purchase of turn-out gear and airpacks.

Senior Citizens will meet for a potluck meal and fellowship noon Monday at the Welcome Legion, with fun to follow. Any senior citizen in the area is welcome.

Congratulations to Dwain and Barb Hartwig on their 60th wedding anniversary today. Cards will reach them at 303 Dugan St. South, Welcome, MN 56181.

Our wish is for many more years together, quite a milestone.

Next week will already be July. Coffee hours for the month will be held 8:30-10 a.m. every Tuesday at St. Peter Lutheran Church in Ceylon. Coffee, goodies and fellowship for all.

The first July meeting of the Welcome City Council will be 6 p.m. Tuesday at City Hall. All members are urged to attend.

There is always a time for public comment at the beginning of each meeting. Please contact the clerk prior to the meeting to be on the regular agenda.

Circle of Faith parishes will hold Wednesday evening services during July at 6:30 p.m. at Waverly Lutheran Church, north of Welcome.

Trinity Lutheran in Welcome and St. Peter in Ceylon will plan Sunday services for 8:30 a.m. during July.

Welcome Historical Society Museum will be open 2-4 p.m. July 7. To set up an appointment or to see the museum at a time it is not usually open, please call (507) 236-2034.
