Justin A. Vega, 21, of Edinburg, Texas, was convicted of driving while impaired-operate a motor vehicle under influence of alcohol; fined $585, sentenced to jail 90 days, stay 90 days for one year, unsupervised probation one year, complete comprehensive assessment, follow all recommendations of most recent comprehensive use assessment, provide a copy of completed assessment to Martin County Court Administration and the Martin County Attorney’s Office, attend MADD Impact Panel, no same or similar, no alcohol or controlled substance use with the exception of prescribed medications, no possession of alcohol or drugs with the exception of prescribed medication, random testing. Received additional charge of driving while impaired-refuse to submit to chemical test-blood or urine as required by search warrant; dismissed.
