Schaefer, 47, of Fairmont, was convicted of driving while impaired-operate a motor vehicle under influence of alcohol; fined $610, sentenced to jail 90 days, stay 90 days for two years, supervised probation two years, follow all State and Federal criminal laws, sign releases of information as directed, attend MADD Impact Panel, provide proof of completion to probation agent, complete comprehensive assessment, follow all recommendations of most recent comprehensive use assessment, provide all records from the assessment to probation agent, no alcohol or controlled substance use with the exception of prescribed medications, no possession of alcohol or drugs with the exception of prescribed medication, random testing, follow all conditions set forth in the Probation Agreement, sign and abide by standard probation agreement. Received additional charge of driving while impaired-operate motor vehicle-alcohol concentration 0.08 within two hours; dismissed.

Received an additional charge of carry/possess pistol without permit-public place-gross misdemeanor-second or subsequent-felony; dismissed.
