Tyler P. Hennan, 28, of Blue Earth, received a stay of adjudication on a charge of obstruct legal process-interfere with a peace officer; fined $175, sentenced to jail three days, credit for time served three days, one year supervised probation, contact probation officer as directed, obtain health insurance, maintain insurance, follow all recommendations of the comprehensive assessment completed 8/8/2024, complete a psychological evaluation/treatment and follow recommendations, no alcohol/controlled substance use with the exception of prescribed medications including marijuana, no alcohol/controlled substance possession with the exception of prescribed medications including marijuana, random testing, take medications in the prescribed dosage and frequency, consult with a provider regarding medication management, follow all state and federal criminal laws, contact probation agent within 72 hours if charged with a new crime; are in contact with law enforcement; if changes address, employment, or telephone number, cooperate with search of person, residence, vehicle, workplace, property, etc. by probation officer, sign releases of information as directed, give a DNA sample when directed. Two additional felony charges of domestic assault, and a misdemeanor charge of fourth-degree assault-physically assaults a peace officer, were all dismissed.
Grace M. Rettke, 24, of Elmore had a charge of uninsured vehicle-owner violation continued for dismissal; fined $200, six months unsupervised monitoring without conviction, no same or similar.
Albert A. Fisher, 47, of Buffalo Center, Iowa was convicted of dangerous weapons-recklessly handle or use; fined $285, sentenced to jail 90 days, stayed 90 days for one year, one year supervised probation, sentence to service two days for one year, contact with probation officer as directed, have absolutely no direct, indirect or third party contact with the victims, obtain a mental health assessment within 180 days of sentencing and follow all recommendations, no alcohol/controlled substance use with the exception of prescribed medications, no alcohol/controlled substance possession with the exception of prescribed medication, random testing, follow all state and federal criminal laws, contact probation agent within 72 hours if charged with a new crime; are in contact with law enforcement; if changes address, employment, or telephone number, cooperate with search of person, residence, vehicle, workplace, property, etc. by probation officer, give a DNA sample when directed, do not use or possess firearms, ammunition, explosives or dangerous weapons. Also convicted of disorderly conduct-offensive/abusive/boisterous/noisy/obscene; fined $100, sentenced to jail 90 days, stayed 90 days for one year, one year supervised probation, contact with probation officer as directed, have absolutely no direct, indirect or third party contact with the victims, obtain a mental health assessment within 180 days of sentencing and follow all recommendations, no alcohol/controlled substance use with the exception of prescribed medications, no alcohol/controlled substance possession with the exception of prescribed medication, random testing, follow all state and federal criminal laws, contact probation agent within 72 hours if charged with a new crime; are in contact with law enforcement; if changes address, employment, or telephone number, cooperate with search of person, residence, vehicle, workplace, property, etc. by probation officer, give a DNA sample when directed, do not use or possess firearms, ammunition, explosives or dangerous weapons. An additional felony charge of terroristic threats-reckless disregard risk, was dismissed.
Jacob C. Helland, 25, of Emmons, received a stay of adjudication on a charge of domestic assault-commits act to cause fear of immediate bodily harm or death; fined $200, six months unsupervised monitoring without adjudication, no same or similar, no assault or disorderly conduct, complete anger management or domestic abuse class. An additional charge of fifth-degree assault was dismissed.
Robert A. Larson, 50, of Good Thunder was convicted on a felony charge of first-degree driving while impaired-previous DWI conviction; fined $865, commit to Commissioner of Corrections 50 months, stay for five years, sentenced to jail 365 days, sentenced to jail 60 days, credit for time served two days, serve as work release, can do sentence to service, Huber is granted if qualifies, staggered sentencing of home monitoring with alcohol sensor, five years supervised probation, attend MADD impact panel, complete Driving with Care program, follow all recommendations of comprehensive use assessment dated 4/5/2024 including aftercare, complete current outpatient chemical dependency treatment program at Stages of Change, no alcohol/controlled substance use with the exception of prescribed medications, no no alcohol/controlled substance possession with the exception of prescribed medications, submit to random testing at the request of probation or law enforcement officer, do not enter bars or liquor stores, don’t enter any establishment that has the sale of alcohol as its primary business without documented approval of the agent/designee, do not buy or own a vehicle without a valid drivers license and insurance, do not purchase or operate motor vehicle without prior documented approval of the agent/designee, a valid driver’s license and proof of insurance coverage are required for approval, do not possess any alcohol, alcohol containers, drugs or drug paraphernalia, obtain permission from agent before leaving the state, follow all state and federal criminal laws, tell your probation officer within 72 hours if you have contact with law enforcement, are charged with any new crime, or if you change, your address, employment or telephone number, cooperate with the search of your person, residence, vehicle, workplace, property and things as directed by your probation officer, sign releases of information as directed, give a DNA sample when directed, do not use or possess firearms, ammunition or explosives.
Markus M. Moreno, 59, of Winnebago received a stay of adjudication on a charge of domestic assault-intentionally attempts to inflict bodily harm on another; fined $175, sentenced to jail two days, credit for time served two days, one year supervised probation, complete diagnostic assessment and follow all recommendations, complete cognitive skill training as deemed appropriate by probation officer, follow all state and federal criminal laws, tell your probation officer within 72 hours if you have contact with law enforcement, are charged with any new crime, or if you change, your address, employment or telephone number, cooperate with the search of your person, residence, vehicle, workplace, property and things as directed by your probation officer, sign releases of information as directed, give a DNA sample when directed. An additional felony charge of second-degree assault with a dangerous weapon was dismissed.
