Brandon D. Lesch, 23, of Warroad received a stay of imposition pursuant to Minnesota statutes on a felony charge of malicious punishment of a child; fined $1,085, sentenced to jail 90 days, serve as home detention/electronic monitoring, five years supervised probation, contact probation officer as directed, no alcohol/controlled substance use with the exception of prescribed medications, no alcohol/controlled substance possession with the exception of prescribed medication, random testing, complete a mental health diagnostic assessment and follow all recommendations for care and aftercare, no contact with victim(s), follow all court ordered no contact orders, cognitive skill training as directed by supervising agent, follow all recommendations of Child Protective Services in present CHIPS case and complete all required programming, one year Domestic No Contact (DANCO), obtain permission from agent before leaving the state, follow all state and federal criminal laws, contact probation agent within 72 hours if charged with a new crime; are in contact with law enforcement; if changes address, employment, or telephone number, cooperate with search of person, residence, vehicle, workplace, property, etc. by probation officer, sign releases of information as directed, don’t use or possess firearms, ammunition or explosives. An additional charge of domestic assault-commits act to cause fear of immediate bodily harm or death was dismissed.
Josh F. Young, 43, of Fairmont received a stay of adjudication on a felony charge of theft-take/use/transfer movable property without consent; fined $6,567.83, restitution $6,567.83, five years unsupervised probation, pay restitution in the amount of $6,567.83 by making minimum monthly payments of $100 starting 10/1/2024, have no other joint accounts, power of attorney or fiduciary matters with victim of the case, no same or similar. An additional felony charge of theft by swindle was dismissed.
Brielle C. Anderson, 32, of Trimont was convicted of domestic assault-intentionally attempts to inflict bodily harm on another; fined $385, sentenced to jail 90 days, stayed 84 days for one year, credit for time served six days, one year supervised probation, contact probation officer as directed, no contact with victim(s), participate in cognitive skills programming as directed by probation agent, participate in individual counseling, no alcohol/controlled substance use with the exception of prescribed medications, no alcohol/controlled substance possession with the exception of prescribed medications, random testing, one year Domestic No Contact (DANCO), obtain permission from agent before leaving the state, follow all state and federal criminal laws, contact probation agent within 72 hours if charged with a new crime; are in contact with law enforcement; if changes address, employment, or telephone number, cooperate with search of person, residence, vehicle, workplace, property, etc. by probation officer, sign releases of information as directed, don’t use or possess firearms, ammunition or explosives. Additional felony charges of second-degree assault with a dangerous weapon, and terroristic threats-reckless disregard, were both dismissed.

Nietfeld, 57, of Winnebago had a charge of domestic assault-fear of immediate bodily harm continued for dismissal; fined $175, six months unsupervised monitoring without conviction, no assault or disorderly conduct, no same or similar. Also had a charge of fifth-degree assault-fear of bodily harm or death continued for dismissal; six months unsupervised monitoring without conviction, no assault or disorderly conduct, no same or similar.
Mary M. Bromley, 35, of Winnebago had a charge of speeding continued for dismissal; fined $125, six months unsupervised monitoring without conviction, two years no same or similar.
Shane P. Weisbrod, 32, of Rochester had a charge of open package of cannabis-owner/driver not compliant packaging or container continued for dismissal; fined $185, 30 days unsupervised monitoring without conviction, no same or similar.
