Received additional charges of failure to carry proof of insurance when operating vehicle; driving without a valid driver’s license; fined; both dismissed.
Gabriel Miranda Jr, 34, of Worthington, was convicted of holding a wireless communications device in one or both hands; fined $135. Received an additional charge of driving after license suspension; dismissed.

Timothy D. Jordan, 45, of Fairmont was convicted of fifth-degree arson-setting fire to real or personal property; fined $385, sentenced to jail 90 days, stay 86 days for one year, credit for time served four days, supervised probation 1 year, follow all state and federal criminal laws, cooperate with the search of your person, residence, vehicle, workplace, property, and things as directed by your probation officer, sign releases of information as directed, do not use or possess firearms, ammunition, or explosives, obtain permission from agent before leaving the state, complete comprehensive assessment, no alcohol or controlled substance use with the exception of prescribed medications, no possession of alcohol or drugs with the exception of prescribed medication, random testing, cognitive skill training if recommended by probation, complete diagnostic assessment if recommended by probation, complete post-sentence investigation if recommended by probation, no same or similar. Also convicted of driving after revocation; fined $285. Received an additional charge; Bradley M. Oudekerk, 36, of Welcome; was fined $285.
