Johnny Gonzalez Alvarez, 44, of Jackson was convicted of speeding; fined $125. Additional charge of failure of driver to carry proof of insurance when operating a vehicle was dismissed.

Emily B. Morse, 39, of Fairmont, was convicted of theft-take/use/transfer movable property without consent; fined $185, sentenced to jail 30 days, stayed 30 days for one year, one year unsupervised probation, no same or similar, do not enter Fairmont Walmart for the term of probation.

Christopher A. Johnston, 23, of Welcome was convicted of driving while impaired-alcohol concentration 0.08 within two hours; fined $810, sentenced to jail 364 days, stayed 360 days for two years, credit for time served four days, two years supervised probation, contact probation officer as directed, complete and pay for a comprehensive assessment within 45 days of sentencing and follow all recommendations timely, defendant must sign all releases for assessor to obtain collateral information from a signed probation agents, assigned social workers (if any), mental health treatment providers (if any), relevant family/household members, and recent treatment providers as part of their assessment, defendant must successfully complete the level of treatment and aftercare recommended rather than choosing a lesser level of care, no same or similar, no alcohol or controlled substance use with the exception of prescribed medications, no alcohol or controlled substance possession with the exception of prescribed medications, random testing, attend MADD impact panel, complete post-sentence investigation if recommended by probation, obtain permission from agent before leaving the state, follow all state and federal criminal laws, cooperate with the search of your person, residence, vehicle, workplace, property, and things as directed by probation officer, sign releases of information as directed, do not use or possess firearms, ammunition, or explosives. Additional charge of operate motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol was dismissed.

Jeremy E. Johnson, 44, of Alpha, received a stay of imposition pursuant to Minnesota statutes on a felony charge of fourth-degree assault of a peace officer-demonstrable bodily harm; fined $75, sentenced to jail five days, credit for time served five days, three years supervised probation, sentence to service five days for indeterminate, contact probation officer as directed, write letter of apology to the victim and submit to agent for approval, have no direct or indirect contact with the victims of this offense outside of their official capacity, complete diagnostic assessment and follow all recommendations of a mental health diagnostic assessment, take medications in the prescribed dosage and frequency, remain medication compliant, no alcohol or controlled substance use with the exception of prescribed medications, no alcohol or controlled substance possession with the exception of prescribed medications, random testing, refrain from any assaultive, abusive or violent behavior, obtain permission from agent before leaving the state, follow all state and federal criminal laws, cooperate with the search of your person, residence, vehicle, workplace, property, and things as directed by your probation officers, sign releases of information as directed, give a DNA sample when directed, do not use or possess firearms ammunition or explosives. Two additional misdemeanor charges of fourth-degree assault of a peace officer-physically assaults, were both dismissed.

Roger D. Henrickson, 64, of Rake, Iowa., was convicted of failure of driver to carry proof of insurance when operating a vehicle; fined $200. Also convicted of driving without a valid driver’s license for vehicle class or type; fined $185.
