Speeding — Kent R. Viesselman, 82, of Wells; Jamy L. Whitehead, 52, of Blue Earth; each fined $125.
Ryan D. Ahrens, 47, of Blue Earth was convicted of disorderly conduct-offensive/abusive/boisterous/noisy/obscene; fined $260. Additional charges of domestic assault-commits act to cause fear of immediate bodily harm or death, and domestic assault-intentionally attempts to inflict bodily harm on another, were both dismissed.
Zachary D. Johnson, 31, of Kiester was convicted of driving after revocation; fined $300, sentenced to jail 90 days, stayed 89 days for one year, credit for time served one day, one year unsupervised probation, no DAR/DAS/DAC, no same or similar. Also convicted of vehicle registration required; fined $115.
Jason J. Kwasniewski, 42, of Delavan received a stay of adjudication on a charge of domestic assault-commits act to cause fear of immediate bodily harm or death; fined $200, sentenced to jail four days, credit for time served four days, one year supervised probation, enroll and complete a probation approved domestic abuse batterer’s intervention program and follow all discharge recommendations of the program, follow all recommendations of a comprehensive assessment, follow all predatory offender registration requirements for restarting registration,
no alcohol/controlled substance use with the exception of prescribed medications, no alcohol/controlled substance possession with the exception of prescribed medications, random testing, attend MADD impact panel, obtain permission from agent before leaving the state, follow all state and federal criminal laws, contact probation agent within 72 hours if charged with a new crime; are in contact with law enforcement; if changes address, employment, or telephone number, cooperate with search of person, residence, vehicle, workplace, property, etc. by probation officer, sign releases of information as directed, don’t use or possess firearms, ammunition or explosives if prohibited by law. Additional charge of domestic assault-intentionally attempts to inflict bodily harm on another was dismissed.
Nelson G. Thompson, 55, of Kiester was convicted of third-degree driving while impaired-refuse to submit to chemical test; fined $585, sentenced to jail 364 days, stayed 360 days for two years, credit for time served four days, two years supervised probation, contact probation officer as directed, complete and pay for comprehensive assessment within 60 days of sentencing and follow all recommendations in a timely manner, must sign all releases for assessor to obtain collateral information from assigned probation agent(s), assigned social worker(s) if any, mental health treatment provider(s) if any, relevant family/household members and recent treatment providers as part of their assessment, must successfully complete the level of treatment and aftercare recommended rather than choosing a lesser level of care, no alcohol/controlled substance use with the exception of prescribed medications, no alcohol/controlled substance possession with the exception of prescribed medications, random testing, attend MADD impact panel, obtain permission from agent before leaving the state, follow all state and federal criminal laws, contact probation agent within 72 hours if charged with a new crime; are in contact with law enforcement; if changes address, employment, or telephone number, cooperate with search of person, residence, vehicle, workplace, property, etc. by probation officer, sign releases of information as directed, don’t use or possess firearms, ammunition or explosives.
