Bradley M. Oudekerk, 35, of Welcome was convicted of obstruct legal process-interfere with peace officer; fined $385, sentenced to jail 90 days, stayed 90 days for one year, one year unsupervised probation, no same or similar. Also convicted of failure of driver to carry proof of insurance when operating a vehicle; fined $285, sentenced to jail 90 days, stayed 90 days for one year, one year unsupervised probation, no same or similar. Also convicted of operate vehicle with expired registration; fined $50. Additional charges of failure of driver to carry proof of insurance when operating a vehicle, and vehicle registration/permit/plates required, were both dismissed.

Mark A. Veliz, 24, of Raymondville, Texas was convicted of theft-take/use/transfer movable property without consent; fined $185, sentenced to jail 30 days, stayed 30 days for six months, six months unsupervised probation, don’t enter Fairmont Walmart for term of probation, no same or similar.

Roland D. Kain, 48, of Ceylon received a stay of adjudication on a charge of domestic assault-commits act to cause fear of immediate bodily harm or death; fined $400, sentenced to jail three days, credit for time served three days, one year supervised probation, contact probation officer as directed, complete and pay for comprehensive assessment within 30 days of sentencing and follow all recommendations timely, must sign all releases for assessor to obtain collateral information from assigned probation agent(s), assigned social worker(s) if any, mental health treatment provider(s) if any, relevant family/household members and recent treatment providers as part of their assessment, must successfully complete the level of treatment and aftercare recommended rather than choosing a lesser level of care, no alcohol/controlled substance use with the exception of prescribed medications, no alcohol/controlled substance possession with the exception of prescribed medications, random testing, complete a mental health evaluation and follow all recommendations, cooperate with any post-sentence investigation that probation may require, no harassing, threatening or assaultive beahavior, obtain permission from agent before leaving the state, follow all state and federal criminal laws, contact probation agent within 72 hours if charged with a new crime; are in contact with law enforcement; if changes address, employment, or telephone number, cooperate with search of person, residence, vehicle, workplace, property, etc. by probation officer, sign releases of information as directed, don’t use or possess firearms, ammunition or explosives or other dangerous weapons.
