Stray animals-prohibited domestic animals running at large — Jose D. Colin-Tovar, 53, of Wells; fined $135.

Driving after suspension — Rosmery M. Garcia Ortega, 25, of Blue Earth; fined $285.

Joshua J. Bronson, 32, of Wells received a stay of adjudication on a charge of theft-take/use/transfer movable property without consent; 180 days supervised probation, no contact with victim(s), complete cognitive skill training as deemed appropriate by agent, no same or similar, follow all state and federal criminal laws, contact probation agent within 72 hours if charged with a new crime; are in contact with law enforcement; if changes address, employment, or telephone number, cooperate with search of person, residence, vehicle, workplace, property, etc. by probation officer, sign releases of information as directed.

Joshua D. Musel, 25, of Frost received a stay of adjudication on a charge of domestic assault-commits act to cause fear of immediate bodily harm or death; fined $75, sentenced to jail four days, credit for time served four days, one year supervised probation, sentence to service two days for indeterminate, contact probation officer as directed, follow all recommendations of the comprehensive assessment completed by Human Services on 3/6/2024, complete a mental health assessment scheduled for 3/28/2024 and follow all recommendations, no alcohol/controlled substance use with the exception of prescribed medications, no alcohol/controlled substance possession with the exception of prescribed medications, random testing, no direct or indirect contact with victim throughout supervision unless approved by agent for life events that would include both defendant and the victim such as a family funeral, follow all state and federal criminal laws, contact probation agent within 72 hours if charged with a new crime; are in contact with law enforcement; if changes address, employment, or telephone number, cooperate with search of person, residence, vehicle, workplace, property, etc. by probation officer, sign releases of information as directed, don’t use/possess firearms, ammunition or explosives if prohibited by law. Additional felony charge of second-degree assault with a dangerous weapon was dismissed.

Brady M. Hanevik, 35, of Blue Earth had a charge of trespass-permission required to enter agricultural land for outdoor recreation purposes continued for dismissal; six months unsupervised monitoring without conviction, no trespassing, no same or similar.

Jory R. Johnson, 35, of Duluth was convicted on a felony charge of identity theft-penalties-three but not more than seven direct victims; fined $13,283.46, restitution $13,123.46, commit to Commissioner of Corrections 13 months, stayed for five years, sentenced to jail 151 days, credit for time served 151 days, five years supervised probation, sentence to service 40 hours for indeterminate, pay restitution as ordered by court and make minimum monthly payments of $150, complete residential treatment at Minnesota Adult and Teen Challenge and follow all aftercare recommendations, no alcohol/controlled substance use with the exception of prescribed medications, no alcohol/controlled substance possession with the exception of prescribed medications, random testing at the request of probation or law enforcement, no contact with victim(s), attend and complete a gambling assessment and follow all recommendations, don’t gamble or enter a gambing establishment to include lottery tickets, pull-tabs, bingo or any other game of chance, complete a cognitive-based program as directed by supervising agent. Additional felony charges of bringing stolen goods into state, and theft by swindle, were both dismissed.

Nicholas R. Sletten, 42, of Little Canada, Minn. was convicted of speeding; fined $135. Additional charge of driving after suspension was dismissed.

William A. Parker, 58, of Wells was convicted of fourth-degree driving while impaired; fined $485, sentenced to jail 90 days, stayed 90 days for one year, one year supervised probation, contact probation officer as directed, complete and pay for comprehensive assessment within 60 days of sentencing and follow all recommendations in a timely manner, must sign all releases for assessor to obtain collateral information from assigned probation agent(s), assigned social worker(s) if any, mental health treatment provider(s) if any, relevant family/household members and recent treatment providers as part of their assessment, must successfully complete the level of treatment and aftercare recommended rather than choosing a lesser level of care, no alcohol/controlled substance use with the exception of prescribed medications, no alcohol/controlled substance possession with the exception of prescribed medications, random testing, attend MADD impact panel, follow all state and federal criminal laws, contact probation agent within 72 hours if charged with a new crime; are in contact with law enforcement; if changes address, employment, or telephone number, cooperate with search of person, residence, vehicle, workplace, property, etc. by probation officer, sign releases of information as directed. Additional charges of driver involved fails to stop for collision, and driving after revocation, were both dismissed.
