Jaime M. Leiting, 45, of Sherburn was convicted of lawful gambling fraud-false information; fined $385, sentenced to jail 364 days, stayed 364 days for two years, two years unsupervised probation, contact local sheriff’s office and complete booking and fingerprint process within 30 days, no same or similar.

Jeremy T. Beyer, 40, of Emmetsburg, Iowa was convicted on a felony charge of fleeing a peace officer in a motor vehicle; fined $1,085, commit to Commissioner of Corrections 365 days, stayed two years, sentenced to jail 30 days, credit for time served six days, work release and STS are granted, two years supervised probation, contact probation officer as directed, complete and pay for a comprehensive assessment within 60 days of sentencing and follow all recommendations timely, must sign all releases for assessor to obtain collateral information from assigned probation agent(s), assigned social worker(s) if any, mental health treatment provider(s) if any, relevant family/household members and recent treatment providers as part of their assessment, must successfully complete the level of treatment and aftercare recommended rather than choosing a lesser level of care, no alcohol/controlled substance use with the exception of prescribed medications, no alcohol/controlled substance possession with the exception of prescribed medications, random testing, complete diagnostic assessment and follow all recommendations, obtain permission from agent before leaving the state, follow all state and federal criminal laws, contact probation agent within 72 hours if charged with a new crime; are in contact with law enforcement; if changes address, employment, or telephone number, cooperate with search of person, residence, vehicle, workplace, property, etc. by probation officer, give a DNA sample when directed, sign releases of information as directed, don’t use/possess firearms, ammunition, or explosives. Additional charges of speeding, and careless driving-operate any vehicle carelessly on street or highway, were both dismissed.

Alicia M. Lessard, 37, of Truman was convicted of vehicle registration/permit/plates required; fined $115. Also convicted of vehicle window restrictions-windshield tinted or glazed; fined $50.

Aldemar Gomez Y Gomez, 48, of Fairmont was convicted of no proof of motor vehicle insurance; fined $200. Also convicted of speeding; fined $125. Also convicted of no Minnesota drivers license; fined $100.

Christopher L. Mays, 50, of Sioux Falls, S.D. was convicted of no proof of motor vehicle insurance; fined $200. Also convicted of no Minnesota drivers license; fined $185.
