Christanna J. Danner, 49, of Fairmont received a statutory stay of adjudication on a felony charge of third-degree controlled substance possession-10 grams or more of a narcotic drug other than heroin; fined $1,185, sentenced to jail three days, credit for time served three days, five years supervised probation, contact probation officer as directed, complete and pay for a comprehensive assessment within 60 days of sentencing and follow all recommendations timely, must sign all releases for assessor to obtain collateral information from assigned probation agent(s), assigned social worker(s) if any, mental health treatment provider(s) if any, relevant family/household members and recent treatment providers as part of their assessment, must successfully complete the level of treatment and aftercare recommended rather than choosing a lesser level of care, no alcohol/controlled substance use with the exception of prescribed medications, no alcohol/controlled substance possession with the exception of prescribed medications, random testing, complete a diagnostic assessment and follow all recommendations, obtain permission from agent before leaving the state, follow all state and federal criminal laws, contact probation agent within 72 hours if charged with a new crime; are in contact with law enforcement; if changes address, employment, or telephone number, cooperate with search of person, residence, vehicle, workplace, property, etc. by probation officer, sign releases of information as directed, don’t use/possess firearms, ammunition, or explosives.
Blain W. Landin, 39, of Fairmont was convicted of third-degree controlled substance sales of a narcotic; fined $185, commit to Commissioner of Corrections 52 months, give a DNA sample when directed. Also convicted of possess ammo/any firearm-previous felony conviction; sentenced to jail 364 days, credit for time served 52 days, concurrent with other case. Additional felony charges of fifth-degree controlled substance possession-not small amount of marijuana, and felon convicted of crime of violence-firearm or ammunition violation, were both dismissed.
Karley M. Law, 22, of Fairmont was convicted of third-degree driving while impaired-alcohol concentration 0.08 within two hours; fined $910, sentenced to jail 364 days, stayed 334 days for two years, work release is granted, may serve the 30 days on EHM with alco-sensor at defendant’s expense, two years supervised probation, contact probation officer as directed, complete an updated comprehensive assessment if recommended, continue following recommendations from previous assessment and follow aftercare recommendations from completed treatment, no alcohol/controlled substance use with the exception of prescribed medications, no alcohol/controlled substance possession with the exception of prescribed medications, random testing, attend MADD impact panel, no same or similar, follow all state and federal criminal laws, contact probation agent within 72 hours if charged with a new crime; are in contact with law enforcement; if changes address, employment, or telephone number, cooperate with search of person, residence, vehicle, workplace, property, etc. by probation officer, sign releases of information as directed, don’t use/possess firearms, ammunition, or explosives if prohibited by law. Additional charges of third-degree operate motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol, and driving after revocation, were both dismissed.
William W. Meyer, 32, of Fairmont received a stay of adjudication on a charge of domestic assault-intentionally attempts to inflict bodily harm on another; fined $400, one year supervised probation, contact probation officer as directed, no alcohol/controlled substance use with the exception of prescribed medications, no alcohol/controlled substance possession with the exception of prescribed medications, random testing, no assault, no new assaultive or threatening behavior toward any person, no same or similar, participate in counseling services on a regular basis throughout the term of probation to address anger management skills, cognitive behavioral treatment and stress management therapy, obtain permission from agent before leaving the state, follow all state and federal criminal laws, contact probation agent within 72 hours if charged with a new crime; are in contact with law enforcement; if changes address, employment, or telephone number, cooperate with search of person, residence, vehicle, workplace, property, etc. by probation officer, sign releases of information as directed, don’t use/possess firearms, ammunition, or explosives. Additional felony charge of domestic assault by strangulation was dismissed.
