Robert A. Ebert, Jr., 36, of Rochester was convicted of check forgery-falsely endorse; fined $698, restitution $598, sentenced to jail 364 days, stayed 313 days for two years, credit for time served 51 days, two years supervised probation, contact probation officer as directed, report to agent within 24 hours release from custody, complete and pay for a comprehensive assessment within 60 days of sentencing and follow all recommendations timely, must sign all releases for assessor to obtain collateral information from assigned probation agent(s), assigned social worker(s) if any, mental health treatment provider(s) if any, relevant family/household members and recent treatment providers as part of their assessment, must successfully complete the level of treatment and aftercare recommended rather than choosing a lesser level of care, no alcohol/controlled substance use, no alcohol/controlled substance possession, random testing, pay restitution of $171.44 for joint and several other cases, complete diagnostic assessment if recommended by agent, obtain employment, obtain permission from agent before leaving the state, follow all state and federal criminal laws, contact probation agent within 72 hours if charged with a new crime; are in contact with law enforcement; if changes address, employment, or telephone number, cooperate with search of person, residence, vehicle, workplace, property, etc. by probation officer, sign releases of information as directed, don’t use/possess firearms, ammunition, or explosives.

Terry D. Thompson, 59, of Jackson received a stay of imposition pursuant to Minnesota statutes on a felony charge of fifth-degree controlled substance possession-not small amount of marijuana; fined $1,160, sentenced to jail 20 days, credit for time served 20 days, five years supervised probation, contact probation officer as directed, complete and pay for a comprehensive assessment within 60 days of sentencing and follow all recommendations timely, must sign all releases for assessor to obtain collateral information from assigned probation agent(s), assigned social worker(s) if any, mental health treatment provider(s) if any, relevant family/household members and recent treatment providers as part of their assessment, must successfully complete the level of treatment and aftercare recommended rather than choosing a lesser level of care, no alcohol/controlled substance use, no alcohol/controlled substance possession, random testing, complete mental health evaluation if recommended by agent, obtain permission from agent before leaving the state, follow all state and federal criminal laws, contact probation agent within 72 hours if charged with a new crime; are in contact with law enforcement; if changes address, employment, or telephone number, cooperate with search of person, residence, vehicle, workplace, property, etc. by probation officer, give a DNA sample when directed, sign releases of information as directed, don’t use/possess firearms, ammunition, or explosives. Additional charge of driving after revocation was dismissed.

Manuel Trevino, Jr., 36, of Sherburn was convicted of trespass-return to property within one year; sentenced to jail 90 days, stayed 60 days for one year, credit for time served 14 days, one year unsupervised probation, sentence to service four days for indeterminate, no alcohol/controlled substance use, no alcohol/controlled substance possession, random testing, don’t return to the property where the incident occurred, no same or similar. Also convicted of collision with unattended vehicle-fail to notify police or victim; sentenced to jail 90 days, stayed 60 days for one year, credit for time served 14 days, one year unsupervised probation, sentence to service four days for indeterminate, no alcohol/controlled substance use, no alcohol/controlled substance possession, random testing, no same or similar. Three additional felony charges of first-degree burglary of occupied dwelling with non-accomplice present, first-degree burglary-assault of person in building on property, second-degree burglary of a dwelling, and a misdemeanor charge of fifth-degree assault-inflict or attempt bodily harm, were all dismissed.

James F. Thomas, 82, of Windom was convicted of uninsured vehicle-owner violation; fined $285. Also convicted of fail to mail/deliver certificate of motor vehicle title to department within timeframes specified; fined $200.
