Seat belt required-driver and passengers must use — Philip J. Eerdsmans, 36, of Grand Rapids, Mich.; fined $110.

Driving without a valid drivers license for vehicle class or type — Miguel F. Alfonso, 30, of Austin; fined $185.

Driving after revocation — Brandy L. Crail, 33, of Lakota, Iowa; fined $285.

No insurance-owner violation — Lawrence R. Madison Bennett, 28, of Elmore; fined $285.

Rachael Zielske, 52, of Wells received a statutory stay of adjudication on a charge of fifth-degree controlled substance possession-not small amount of marijuana; fined $575, sentenced to jail three days, credit for time served three days, one year supervised probation, sentence to service one day for 90 days, contact probation officer as directed, complete and pay for a comprehensive assessment within 60 days of sentencing and follow all recommendations in a timely manner, must sign all releases for assessor to obtain collateral information from assigned probation agent(s), assigned social worker(s) if any, mental health treatment provider(s) if any, relevant family/household members and recent treatment providers as part of their assessment, must successfully complete the level of treatment and aftercare recommended rather than choosing a lesser level of care, no alcohol/controlled substance use with the exception of prescribed medications, random testing, satisfactorily complete the Carey Guide workbooks entitled ‘Antisocial Associates’ and ‘Antisocial Thinking’, follow all state and federal criminal laws, contact probation agent within 72 hours if charged with a new crime; are in contact with law enforcement; if changes address, employment, or telephone number, cooperate with search of person, residence, vehicle, workplace, property, etc. by probation officer, sign releases of information as directed, don’t use/possess firearms, ammunition, or explosives if prohibited by law.

Steven V. Kowalski, 48, of Winnebago was convicted of obstruct legal process-interfere with peace officer; fined $660, sentenced to jail 364 days, stayed 362 days for two years, credit for time served two days, two years supervised probation, contact probation officer as directed, follow all recommendations of comprehensive assessment completed 6/8/23, take medications in the prescribed dosage and frequency, continue to address any medical or mental health concerns with PCP and take all medications as prescribed, no alcohol/controlled substance use with the exception of prescribed medications, random testing, complete cognitive skill training as directed by agent, follow all state and federal criminal laws, contact probation agent within 72 hours if charged with a new crime; are in contact with law enforcement; if changes address, employment, or telephone number, cooperate with search of person, residence, vehicle, workplace, property, etc. by probation officer, give a DNA sample when directed, sign releases of information as directed. An additional felony charge of fourth-degree assault-secure treatment facility-demonstrable bodily harm was dismissed.

Edward H. Olivieri, 41, of Skokie, Ill. had a charge of speeding continued for dismissal; fined $315, six months unsupervised monitoring without conviction, six months no same or similar.

Kimberly A. Greenfield, 64, of Lakewood, Colo. had a charge of speeding continued for dismissal; fined $135, six months unsupervised monitoring without conviction, six months no same or similar.

Catalina Gomez Heinmets, 64, of Framingham, Mass. had a charge of speeding continued for dismissal; fined $175, six months unsupervised monitoring without conviction, six months no same or similar.

Daisy Dejanira Cruz Manriquez, 31, of Madelia was convicted of speeding; fined $125. Additional charge of no proof of motor vehicle insurance was dismissed.

Zachary P. Schulz, 24, of North Mankato was convicted of marijuana in motor vehicle (driver/owner/passenger) less than 1.4 grams; fined $135. Also convicted of front and rear license plates required; fined $30.
