Engebretson, 19, of Wells received a stay of adjudication on a felony charge of engage in electronic communication relating or describing sexual conduct with a child; electronic home monitoring 90 days for indeterminate, credit for time served 90 days, five years supervised probation, contact probation officer as directed, submit to polygraph examinations as directed, don’t possess/use any pornographic/sexually explicit material, don’t use any phone sex lines, dating services, social networks or enter any strip clubs or adult bookstores or any other business where the primary source of business is adult entertainment, must disclose all electronic devices to agent and comply with monitoring software as directed by agent, no unsupervised contact with persons under age 18 and if contact is approved, the individual(s) to provide the supervision must also be pre-approved by probation and treatment, follow all recommendations of psychosexual assessment completed by Dr. Marshall, no direct or indirect contact with victim or family, no alcohol/controlled substance use with the exception of prescribed medications, random testing, obtain permission from agent before leaving the state, follow all state and federal criminal laws, contact probation agent within 72 hours if charged with a new crime; are in contact with law enforcement; if changes address, employment, or telephone number, cooperate with search of person, residence, vehicle, workplace, property, etc. by probation officer, sign releases of information as directed, don’t use/possess firearms, ammunition, or explosives. Moore, 28, of Blue Earth was convicted of third-degree driving while impaired-refuse to submit to chemical test; fined $884.62, restitution $269.62, sentenced to jail 364 days, stayed 334 days for two years, credit for time served seven days, can serve balance of 23 days on electronic home monitoring at defendant’s expense, two years supervised probation, contact probation officer as directed, attend and pay for a comprehensive assessment on 8/23/23 and follow all recommendations in a timely manner, must sign all releases for assessor to obtain collateral information from assigned probation agent(s), assigned social worker(s) if any, mental health treatment provider(s) if any, relevant family/household members and recent treatment providers as part of their assessment, must successfully complete the level of treatment and aftercare recommended rather than choosing a lesser level of care, no alcohol/controlled substance use with the exception of prescribed medications including THC, random testing, pay minimum $50 monthly restitution, complete MADD impact panel within 60 days, obtain permission from agent before leaving the state, follow all state and federal criminal laws, contact probation agent within 72 hours if charged with a new crime; are in contact with law enforcement; if changes address, employment, or telephone number, cooperate with search of person, residence, vehicle, workplace, property, etc. by probation officer, sign releases of information as directed, don’t use/possess firearms, ammunition, or explosives if prohibited by law. Eduardo Olea Vega, 32, of Winnebago was convicted of driving after revocation; fined $285. Also convicted of no proof of motor vehicle insurance; fined $200.

Alexis M. Schultz, 21, of Wells had a charge of domestic assault-intentionally attempts to inflict bodily harm on another continued for dismissal; fined $75, due within 90 days, six months unsupervised monitoring without conviction, no assault, no disorderly conduct, no same or similar.

Marbin J. Rodriguez, 31, of Ames, Iowa was convicted of no insurance-owner violation; fined $200. Also convicted of speeding; fined $145. Also convicted of no Minnesota drivers license; fined $100.

Jeffrey A. Roney, 64, of Decorah, Iowa had a charge of speeding continued for dismissal; fined $125, six months unsupervised monitoring without conviction, no same or similar.
